crossposting is lame, it leads to facade-like profiles that never seem to interact.
It’s like my dad always says “if you ain’t zappin’ notes, you da WOAT.”
We have the same father
Let's be honest, ceo's or not doesn't like crossposting. It's freedom liked or not, is kinda like the stallman problem, he wants everyone use GNU but the way he tells sound quite wrong. Everyone has the right to use whatever the fuck want to use. So if crossposting is lame that's ok, but at least brings more decentralization. nostr:note1gt9xd8fac9wxurlx7ulh5ard0l3hk6s295l4fa348r9wkenvltpswh7elm
But isn’t it helpful in encouraging adoption / establishing an initial network effect? I want nostr to grow as quickly as possible - trying to think of ways to boost breadth of content and incentivize x users to come over!
yeah, I used early RSS publishers that would crosspost and it would always degrade the experience and probably lower my viewcount. much better to keep original thoughts and posts on nostr, which has way more interoperability and reach
