 Yeah it seems to be a setting on the payment itself rather than a wallet level setting. 

 Fees bottlenecks ? Bitcoin fees are pushing higher and we saw previously that LN is not immune. Especially the self custody LN solutions that use bitcoin submarine swaps on the fly. LN has some big problems. IMO 

 I hope it works better as when I visited earlier this year. You just feel that it is a top down project from the tourism bureau and most merchants don't even care.

One didn't even had the PoS pluged in and the battery was drained.
On another PoS the pay notification never appeared and I had a lovely back and forth after my vacation, because I paid a second time with credit card (LN payment went through, but why would they believe me if their device says no)
McDonald was the only place it just worked, but I had to opperate the PoS, becaus yeah, the lady didn't gave a fuck and had no idea what to do.

Long way to go. 

 Try to increase the fee and you will see the magic. MPP is more expensive than regular payment.

 The universal fix to such problems is to not use LND.
