 Yes.

When I first heard about BTC I went on Twitter and came across pomp. I started listening to his podcasts and he interviewed a lot of great maxis... back then...

Thats how I found @stephanlivera, @ODELL, @MartyBent and from those podcasts @NVK, and others.... I rotated my time away from pomp and started curating a list of maxis for my education.

Oh pomp… like so many that have lost their way.
Pomp is a sad story indeed. Still, I'm grateful for his enthusiasm and for showing me the various paths and personalities in this space. Luckily, I was able to discern the chaff from the wheat and moved on🤙
Fair play, you made it out of the quicksand .
You lose your carkeys , you dont lose your way , you make s conciouss descision to act like a dipshit.

Fuck Pomp, he deserves a flurry of slaps.
Ahahah. Couldn’t have said it better myself. He will always be a scammer.
Everybody is enjoying his own journey but it's nice to see that many of us here have these parallels with the podcasts.
hmm. this is a very fair point. my first 6-12 months of podcasts and youtube were things like laura shin and bogus cryptoheads. thankfully found some signal, in large part thanks to the taco plebs on twitter. maybe it is good for more bitcoin speakers to be on shitcoiner podcasts after all
It's another onramp for normies. And an opportunity for maxis to counter the narratives. ✨🙏
Thanks Lois, agree with this take, but I would also add - we don't have to care or focus so much on trying to go on shitcoiner shows per se, I see it as more about trying to reach out to other related or tangential communities who might be interested.

Whether that's libertarians, macro people, gun advocates, personal finance and FIRE people, SMB, carnivore and keto communities, free private cities and so many more.
Pomp is a shithead, he gets decent talkers on as a smokescreen for his shilling .
It is a sign of personal growth and mastery when you can discern the faults in your teachers, and move beyond them, with a mixture of gratitude and sadness for their unfilled potential.
