Keto would yield the same results.

Any extreme diet will help you reset and correct bad habits. There is nothing special about the carnivore diet, except that it is one of the worst for your health when it comes to restrictive diets.
Keto is great to limit sugar and carbs but it's still bad when it comes to eating bloated vegetables...
Yeah, but Keto without carb and seed oil is basically just carnivore.. or almost.

I've recently tried adding a bit of carbs back, just to see what happens as I was having trouble retaining water with no carbs.
Seed oils won't kill you. Feel free (and you should) use better oils and fats but the propaganda around seed oils is overblown.

The problem with Carbs is with people suffering from some form of metabolic disease or imbalance from shit diets. Once you're out of that cycle through some short term restriction, feel free to add them back to even 70% of your Calories. You'll retain the benefits you felt when you started your restrictive diet :)

This is all assuming you don't have any allergies or sensitivities. At the end of the day what works for you is way works for you, just be mindful of long term consequences with extreme diets.
