I told my husband that i would be cooking a beef roast in the crockpot tomorrow. It's one of our favorite things, because its so versatile. I like to shred it, then we can have leftovers like sandwiches, tacos, and beef salad. And then there's my very favorite, omelettes with shredded beef and peppers. I just saw him getting the crocpot out, and he set it on the counter for me. #grownostr #foodstr #homesteading
Do you put peppercini’s in your pot roast? My wife poured half a pint (including liquid) in the crockpot when she started and it turned out amazing.
Especially the pot roast omelets the next day!
I havent, but i dont have a set recipe as far as spices and other things. Usually i just look to see what i have on hand. But that sounds super tasty, i need to try it.
What cut of meat do you like to use?
We use whatever we have in the freezer, sometimes mix and match, but usually chuck roast or similar.
