@11036f3d @d646aae5 oh for sure, when my wife had back surgery a few years ago, I swapped shifts so I could work all night, come home and carry the kids to school. Come back home and take care of her. Get a little sleep, get up, go back and pick up the kids from school, cook them dinner and help with their homework, get em ready for bed, get another little nap in, if there was time, and then go back to work again.
Gotta do what you gotta do.
@7502a322 I know when I was sick and feeling grumplestilskin about it all, I remembered the wedding vow, "in sickness and in health."
People always think this is about them being taken care of when they're sick, but it is also about them STILL working through their sickness and suffering. Because that's what the savior did. (Not trying to get preachy but when I'm down and I've invited myself to a pity party, it helps me when I remember that)

@7502a322 Bravo! Well done for keeping everyone healthy and able to be successful while she mended! β₯οΈπ

@11036f3d @d646aae5 Thank you, although I didn't do it for a pat on the back. My wife has had a couple of other surgeries as a result of tough pregnancies that I had to take care of her as well, but there's been a couple of times she's also had to nurse me.
I know each gender craps on each other in good fun, but we really should be taking care of each other.
@7502a322 So very true.
If we don't pull together, we will end up in the news for the wrong reasons, I always half joke with my family about that.
