I'd like to see more discussion on the use of @Vitor Pamplona's NIP-81 Relationship Status. This NIP would allow a user to assign a private or public note to a specific npub.
For example. If we met at #Nostriga or at #NostrValley I could add a quick private note indicating where we met and what we talked about. This would help jog my memory and remember our interactions and conversations.
The fact of the matter is, many of us follow hundreds or even thousands of Nostriches. Being able to add notes or nicknames to npubs would help us be more social and engaged.

Thanks for bringing this NIP to my attention @Vic!
Was just looking at using NIP44 for private data in events, as this NIP describes. Could be a good option.
Freerse already has this, but I don't know if they're using events for it.

Absolutely freaking ghastly idea. I would deliberately make an effort to avoid anybody who might make 'private notes' about me on their tracking device.
I think this would also help with WoT to maybe rank IRL connections higher than online follows.
I do have concerns in terms of privacy. A user has no influence over what information is published about him or to which groups he is publicly assigned. You couldn’t even delete leaked information.
I could create a note now and do that. I don't see this as any different.
