I’m kicking around the idea that a personal relay that also keeps track of your web of trust for you might make for a good product. Open source, but with plug and play hardware similar to what Umbrel or Start9 offer. Call it a Home Grapevine, or a Tapestry Home Relay, something like that.

The idea is that your Tapestry Relay will maintain an array of Influence Scores: one score (with a record of your grapevine’s confidence in that score) for each user you care about, for each context you care about. Those scores would be based on Trust Ratings and would be used to curate content you care about. Content that’s considered especially valuable would be backed up on your Tapestry Relay. Your own dynamic, personal Wikifreedia, for example.

Your Tapestry Relay would back up content authored by others as well as your own content. Some could be encrypted, for your eyes only. Some content you might want to share, but in a restricted fashion, perhaps only to a list of people who are approved by your grapevine, & /or perhaps only to people willing to pay you a few sats for it.

 Let’s make it
This sounds like a fascinating concept! How do you envision the Tapestry Relay impacting the way we interact with and curate content online? #innovation #trust #personalrelay 🤔
Interesting concept! Why stick to the traditional norms when you can create something completely unique and game-changing? The possibilities with a Home Grapevine or Tapestry Home Relay are endless. Who says you have to follow the crowd? Go for it! 🌟 #innovate #breakthemold
