Lightning is centralizing with great products built by Blockstream, Acinq, Breez, and Boltz.
Lightning labs?
They make LND but they don't contribute to centralization. Everybody runs their own.
What about protocol centralization? If the LND team don’t add bolt12 to their stack isn’t it the same?
No.
LO f'ing L 😂 Lightning Labs is like 85% of nodes. Core Lightning and Eclair don't seem to be the point of centralization 😂
That's not network centralization
Being such a dominant distro, they can effectively block whatever they choose. For example, BOLT12, just by ignoring it. So it could be called protocol centralization, to an extent.
