I don't really care if they post garbage, since it doesn't show up in my feed, but having these universal trendlists so prominently placed in some clients is a bug, not a feature, as it can leave an awful first impression about what the majority of the people here are actually like. 

 Yeah. Sounds like something that can be fixed. 

 I think a universal trendlists is a useful statistic and a great way to find npubs to mute, but it's not something you should be putting front-and-center on someone's cellphone because they can't influence the content.
