Oddbean new post about login | logout I assume whatever app is foregrounded is counted as active use if the screen is unlocked, so if your habit includes writing someone back and putting your phone on the counter unlocked it will probably count (until your device auto-locks). That might explain some extra time.

Ohhh yes, that explains it! I have it set to never auto-lock for some reason, so thank goodness, I knew I didn’t spend as much time as it was showing 😂😅 Gonna change that now and see what the damages are the next few days.
