I can build my own #Start9 server running #StartOS (free) on a #RaspberryPi? Oh frak yeah!
 Yes. You can.
 You can do many things
 tell me more...
The question is, what do you want to do
for now, just my own lightning node, but that's how it all begins right?
I've never used Start9, when I was looking for a homelab setup, it didn't come up. Umbrel was the one that was suggested, they also have apps for other things like nostr relay and bitcoin nodes too.
What's your setup? To use lighting you'll need to download the entire blockchain first then sync it and then run set up lighting.

That's why I asked, because if you want to use it more than just for lighting, say a home server, then you may need to explore some other options too
You can but Start9 strongly recommends you not run a bitcoin node on a raspberry pi.
Yeah I read that. Just because "you can" heard! Still, I can run it on an old device/laptop pretty easily. Right now I just want a Lightning node, but that's how it begins...
I looked into running a start9 server on a hp elite desk mini but ended up going with umbrel.
 Also using Umbrel.
