Yeah of course.
1. 1 hour - 1 day beforehand coat liberally in coarse salt and keep exposed on a wire rack in the fridge.
2. Season and Cook at 225 on a smoker grill or in an oven for 45 mins to an hour. Until internal temp is 120-125.
3. Then rest for 15-20 mins.
4. Deep fry in tallow for 1 min. Tallow should be 350-400 when you fry the steak.
5. Enjoy the best steak of your life.
Can you save and reuse the tallow for the next time or do you need fresh tallow each time?
Just filter it and reuse it. Should last you awhile
