UX Idea: Have clients recognize relay links specifically inside of a comment and insert a small "add" button that automatically puts them in your list after a pop up confirmation (for signing the change and verifying the URI obviously). Relays for normal people are super confusing, and requiring people to go change explicit settings to have a good experience on nostr is going to turn off a huge number of users, imo. nostr:note1qpykj8mljjgy7sy7eunufjtveegnczx78jyn898n2wpv48uq4dkqyrpds6
That is a good idea.

If I have to think about relays, I'm just gonna ignore them. So I ignore them. Great idea, but currently very poorly implemented.
This is why poster.place and ditto.pub exist. Removes the retardation
OK OK, I'll look
Anything to simplify usage for non-technical people will help drive interest here. Does it pass the mom test? In other words, can my non-technical mom do it and would it make sense what she’s doing and why? My $.02 worth is this sounds like a good idea right until I envision mom adding 44 relays because she keeps seeing the add button but then ends up adding spam relays because she doesn’t know any better. I guess this needs more thought.
