 What do you suppose is the reasons that they currently are not doing that ? 
I'm always suprised that all sorts of things aren't using Bitcoin. 
Odysee for example made their own token and got hammered by the SEC , they could have just used Bitcoin/Lightning .

 Likely they just have no concept of what is possible today in the Bitcoin ecosystem and haven’t had a need to think through this level of resilience to their model.

That ‘paranoia’ seems pretty standard for a Bitcoiner whose money threatens the legitimacy of the State, for a Corporation (body of the State) they rarely see a need for that depth of strategy and in turn they’re not prepared for the opportunities such presents.

Odysee should be rebuilding on #nostr entirely. Project is going nowhere now that the token is dead
