 Yeah, I am waiting for them to have some sort of degoogled option.  For a "no big tech" company, having 100% Google Android really doesn't fit the ethos.

They are thinking about it, but as far as I know hasn't been done yet.  
 IMO any new phone initiative should be open source and hardware. But the basic idea, especially e-paper, is good. 
 Yeah I get it but Google and big tech surveillance is not welcomed on any device I buy.  Doesn't matter how open hardware is. 

Should be a top priority for them to have graphene working in my opinion.
