Conferences seem like a bunch of Bitcoin Oligarchy running elbows and dicks to me. When you ask why is the price so high you get the tard retort ”what else do you want for your money food entertainment and what else ". How about educational talk for plebs and fuck vending and wizards on stage. I'm a retailer too Maybe I'm wrong but... Bloomburg analyst now?
The pundits will pontificate for show while fundamentals play out. A recurring problem seems to be easy ways for retailers to accept payments in a way that is custodial for them without relying on a counterparty that may or may not be forced to stop servicing their area. All without the business owner being forced to learn about running complicated LN nodes and potential jurisdictional tax filing should they be inclined to follow it. Sometimes it seems insurmountable. Other times it just seems too early to tell. But agreed the money going into a lot of these televised conferences seems a huge circle jerk.

Damn, looks sweet. Sadly I don’t live anywhere near Nashville. Are there plans to make anything like that in the Western US?
Ya. You still have overpriced tickets and organizers afraid of certain towns because of media bias implications. If they can't get to it they can't learn anything.
