The "China Queen "was the first merchant ship from the United States to China on February 22, 1784.
The ship was loaded with American ginseng, silver coins, nicotine and other items from New York Port in the United States and arrived at Huangpu Port in Guangzhou on August 28 of the same year.
After selling the items in Guangzhou, black tea, green tea, Nanjing cloth, porcelain, silk, cinnamon and other items were purchased and shipped back to the United States.
The goods on the ship were transferred to New York, Philadelphia and other places for sale. The total profit is $30727.6. This is the beginning of Sino-US trade.
