Though I'm as uninformed as it gets, my perception was that when you react to an event in anyway, the event gets transmitted to your relays as well as it is the root. 
That is why deleting a note with even one comment is exponentially more impossible than a lone note. 
Right? 

 Yea this is the goal, next release of snort will do this
