i spent 12 years arguing with my doctor about the damage tylenol 1 with codeine was doing to my liver. the last 3 or 4 years ive been trying to prove it to him via blood tests. i have that proof now. he tried to argue me that it was alcohol and it never was. that hi (it's not that bad actually) is from tylenol i stopped taking 6 years ago

moral of this story, stop taking tylenol do not take tylenol. take ibu and similar nsaids sparingly but do NOT take tylenol for any reason

 ibu?
I say just avoid acetaminophen altogether. Too easy to fuck things up.
Doctors are fucking groid monkeys with their knowledge already being outdated as of time of them finishing college.
Yeah, no, it's probably both too much paracetamol (due you taking it mixed up with codeine) AND the alcohol you take. I'm 100% dry on alcohol and I only take paracetamol sparingly, without anything else mixed up (basically just when I have mild headaches), and my liver is doing just fine.

Drinking is what really kills it, but no one is ready to admit that because muh alcohol is soooooo goooood maaaaaaan.

Yikes, that's not fun. In addition, be careful about combining multiple things hard on the liver/mainly processed by it. One example being too much durian and alcohol together:

@anime graf mays 🛰️🪐 there’s many studies demonstrating the catastrophic effects of Tylenol the one that surprised me most was how it suppresses the ability to feel emotions
@anime graf mays 🛰️🪐 wtf. are you ok? i use acetaminophen all the time but without codeine. take care of yourself
Only medications you'll catch me taking are antidepressants and amphetamines.
