@796af16b In my Android browser, I don't see alt text, just the hint that there is one. It works effortlessly in the Tusky app, but it would be easier if it worked in the browser as well. Is there a trick? (I know it works on the PC, but I don't have one). 😞

The alt text is there, but unfortunately there's not an easy way of seeing it on mobile browsers. The iPhone has the same problem. AFAIK the only easy way is using an app instead of the website.

Developers seem to have forgotten the alt text exists 😢 One theory about this is that originally the alt text was used by sighted people in the days of slow internet connections to know what an image was as it loaded. When speeds increased, sighted people paid less attention to alt text.
@796af16b Thank you for the quick reply. ❤️ I guess I will have to wait. In Tusky it's right at the bottom, surely it will work here in the browser at some point. Just wanted to ask if I'm not too stupid to find it. 😊
