I really don’t care who you vote for, and I’m not here to persuade anyone. Just strikes me how many people who rightfully distrust the corporate media somehow have dutifully internalized their taking points about Trump, that he’s a fascist xenophobe or whatever. 

He was already president for 4 years and was quite obviously neither. Why parrot bullshit from discredited sources? 

If you want to ding him on lockdowns, outsourcing covid policy to that psycho Fauci, not pardoning Snowden and Assange, Operation Warp Speed, good — he deserves that. 

But very odd to hear people talking as though the other bullshit is true just because liars in the media say so when you lived through 4 years and you know it isn’t.

Trump certainly did not think that. He was as fooled about his job as most of his voters

Once I realized this it dawned on me that Trump is the probably the only popularly elected president in decades 

 There are many valid things to criticize Trump for but the media never push those criticisms as they are generally the areas where Trump went along with the uniparty corporate interests so instead they are forced to resort to calling him names.
