any quick tips on how to get better at 8 ball pool, turns out i’m way worse than i initially thought 😅😂
 Practice
yeah, i know that, just thought maybe anybody had some nice tips from experience, that the beginners, like myself, do wrong
Aim for longer amounts of time
 hmm, good tip
 Practice.
Practice or threaten the opponent 🤙
 definitely the latter 😂
 😂
 be a pocket blocker 😈
 practice
relax
practice
relax
yeah, the relaxation and relieving muscle tension before the shot has helped a ton
It may also seem odd, but when i used to play i would think of a song/tune in my head. helped me flow and follow through on shots. pregame warmup by balancing cue stick, and loosen up by twirling like baton
Play on a bar table. 😂
 🤣
I absolutely love snooker; we even have our own pool/snooker club. I've been playing since I was 12, taught by my dad.

There's no shortcut; you need a great "table IQ" like ball movement, accuracy, and strategy. To excel, play A Lot.

Pro tip: get your own cue stick for consistency and commitment.

Work on your body posture while playing from day one; find tutorials on YouTube.

Each table cloth varies in friction, impacting your game. It's crucial to adapt. If you're beginner, don't change tables.

I should stop here, it getting too long, I'm obsessed with this game 😅 There's much more, keep playing, it's a great game.
Buy a cue, practice and join a low level bar league.
Playing in a league has upped my game tremendously.
that’s a really good shout, curious how much the cues go for 🤔
From $50 to thousands. Do some research on what you want but you don’t need to spend more than a hundred or two for a good starter cue.
Be aware of what the cue ball will do after the shot. Try and set yourself up for the next shot.
proper shout that, really want to own my own table one day just to practice
First things first, practice your cue control. Smooth, straight, controlled, easy on the power. Don’t use more power then necessary. Be mindful of your arm movement. Don’t drop your elbow/lift your cue tip, follow through should be nice and straight.

Next up, learn where to hit the cue ball for controlling its location.

Practice with someone who can watch your form.
