Ah: it's not his fault, but Ron D is SO autistic. His voice is like the Martian Man from Bugs Bunny (va-va-VOOM!) and his facial expressions, although friendly, are awkward.

It really is NOT his fault; he just doesn't have that special "elan" of personal composure that he needs.
