 I know bitcoin will be okay, but I do hate to see the chain and network being used for inscriptions.  


I would understand if they were documents of extreme importance, such as religious texts, the US constitution, or  legal certificates.  

But having the goal of making the world a better place, but instead being in this position is disappointing to say the least.

 I can see ordinals turning into something that celebrates milestone, like a wedding or the birth of a child. I'd be kind of cool to have something on the Bitcoin blockchain forever, sorta like people do with a gravestone. I don't understand why jpgs are a thing and this isn't. Either way, I don't think this stuff belongs on the chain.
