Peter Schiff often brings up that 16 years into Bitcoin, you still can't buy coffee with it (even tho you can) But I wonder when the last time he bought a coffee with a gold coin was? 🤔
A reminder that the supply of gold in the long term is essentially infinite. https://theprint.in/opinion/giant-asteroid-has-gold-worth-700-quintillion-but-it-wont-make-us-richer/260482/
He is actually smart, he just has conflicting interests that he is protecting.
Did you just say he’s lying
I want a lawyer.
Fair. 🤣. I retract the question.

I bought coffee from nostr:nprofile1qqsvyv8d6dx2tjp33069j2kq2mx7xage6w2upyzvxl4pcegt3t22wyspz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgjwaehxw309aekzarnv9nk2tnc09az7qfqwaehxw309ashqmrpvdjkjmn5dpjhxatw9ehx7um5wgcjucm0d5hsaxvfxr with Bitcoin. Checkmate atheists.
90% of the things Peter Schiff says is solely to get a reaction from bitcoiners and to try and keep his gold followers.
Or even worse, a gold mining stock which he probably owns more of than actual gold.
I tell folks this all the time.... Good luck spending your gold at a gas station. Chances are I can use my bitcoin for a Walmart gift card and use it for gas if need be....
The price of gold is so manipulated through etfs (paper gold), you'd probably be over paying for a cup of coffee. It's impossible to count up all of the worlds gold - so even the value Peter thinks it's at, isn't real but a prefabricated version.
