This is obviously pretty freaky but how different is it really than what we already have? I remember having to register with pen and paper when I turned 18 and not doing so was a crime.

Yeah I don’t disagree with that all I’m just saying it seems like they took what you were already legally required to do manually and automated it. I suppose you coulda gotten away with not registering. I remember feeling sketched out signing the paper but I do remember doin it in 2005.
