We really need a Client that is specifically tailored to NSFW content. It would make things so much easier for everyone: users, creators, clients, and relays.
Quite literally, everyone wins.

Isn't there a relay for this anyway? I genuinely don't know (I swear I swear, I learnt it from bluesky even lol). Doesn't that solve the problem? You have a paid relay, you only see the content if you have access to the relay. Maybe I also don't know how relays work either tho lol

Twitter/Instagram sort of work cos it's like you haven't commited to a goon app (is onlyfans even an app?). Your normal feed is peppered with nsfw (generally speaking) rather than dedicated to it.

Why would you use a Twitter interface to browse NSFW content? UI/UX can be so much better when you know the type of content coming at you.
I understand what you mean. I'm referring to it in a Nostr context. Everyone here can tailor their experience. I personally don't browse the Global feed. Most of the people I follow here have come across through comments and such.
On another note, I don't understand how all these really operators continue to run without any income, especially if you're uploading tons of media to these servers like Nostr.build
Some of them do have income, but it's about selling access to data. There are trillions of dollars to be made with the right (for a VC) business model. If you don't pay to sustain what you want, you become the product. That's true even here.

Nostr clients are stupid, they don't care what info are you getting from relays.
Completely false. ALL clients today only work because they know exactly what to get from relays and apply lots of smart algorithms to assemble the information for you. There is no dumb client. Every client is the view of its creator over your data.
