OUR WINNER IS SER SLEEPY!! 🔥 🎉 with a guess of $527.36
@sersleepy
The total was, in fact, $557.10 for 8 bags of groceries, about two weeks supply of real food. (no boxes of seed oils or that crap)
Basically fruit (Rad eats a ton of fruit), steak, sausage, bacon, eggs, yogurt, sweet potatoes, and some other assorted items.

Jesus Christ that's expensive as fuck
Yessir.., yes it very much is.
The price is right #nostr edition!
Holy shit
That is the correct response
what was the tax %
I think it was around 8% sales tax but it actually isn’t on the receipt. NC sales tax is around that zone last I remember though
Damn I calculated 6.5% sales tax
Yeah confirmed, my county is 7.5%
That’s $5.27 on top of my guess if I would’ve known, still wouldn’t have been exact tho /:
Holy crap, what did you buy?
How many lbs of steak?
About 7 lbs of steak (skirt and sirloin), and I think 4 or 5 lbs of ground beef.
Ah, that’s 250 right there 😆
I just got a side of beef from my local farmer. 350lbs for $1800. Best beef if ever bought. No additives, hormones etc. I don't know if he ships...
I need to do this really bad, just don’t have the space for it yet.
When we finish the basement we will put in a freezer so that we can do this.
be careful once you fill a freezer with beef you can’t go back. good luck finding a farmer 🫡
That's insanity but no surprise and I should have know it would be mostly animal products and not veggies (usually cheaper than fruit). What a crazy time we are in.
Next time BYOB, please 🙃🫂😌
Wait until you have 3 teenagers and are eating as much beef, dairy, and as eggs as possible. To
