Last night had a relatively small turnout of trick or treaters. I missed a doorbell ring (volume low to avoid freaking out doggo) for two ladies. 4 uncostumed teenage boys (about 13-15 in age) showed up later and got candy boxes. 0 children
Sad
Ouch. I had 253 kids come by.
wow. Most Ive ever had here in years past was 62!
It's always insane here in my neighborhood. You can't drive on the streets.
👀👀👀 thats an army lol
It's way too much to be honest. I don't like it. Spending $100 on candy is too much.
Same, we had a total of 11, 3 were family members, and two groups of 4 children each. But we had rain most of the evening so we didn’t expect many visitors.
I give out full size candy bars when thats the case. Or hand fulls of good shit that my son surrendered. 😁
We have a guy who owns a donut shop and gives away donuts. You’d be amazed at how many people go to his house for that. He used to give away full sized candy bars when he had a convenience store. You see the correlation right?! He’s turning over his inventory. 😂😂😂
Ive been doing consulting work for a few years now and I have the perspective of having spent the last 4 halloweens in different areas of Colorado. I think the older neighborhoods that do have younger kids/new homes just travel to the newer neighborhoods where all the kids go. Also, my youngest is 13 and he wanted to be driven to a specific neighborhood. -Anyway, id just opt out next year if thats the case. Maybe have a few things on hand just in case, but thieving teens? Pass. 🧡🍻👊🏻
Populations are aging and people are having less kids so if you’re already seeing a decline in your area it may just keep going in that direction.
