Ok true, but the metaphor represents violent, adversarial disobedience versus peaceful protest.

What I'm trying to say is, prepare for the worst and then formulate a plan around that.

What can be done assuming bad politicians continue to run the country?
Why do we have to accept that bad politicians will keep running shit? We have a tech forward millennial who’s anti seed oils and owns bitcoin running as vice president. We’re getting rich as a collective. Our voices will be heard politically. That’s how America works. Money = speech.
You don't have to accept it. I hope that we achieve our goals through voting and lobbying.

I am not optimistic that our political system can still function that way, for a variety of reasons. One being that we likely won't even have consensus on who won. The past two elections have both been declared fradulant by the other side, and that is escalating.

I take what you say seriously so I'll keep an open mind. My vote is probably worth 2 or 3 times more than yours is (electoral college).

But I do seriously see a possibility that we have to defend people like Ross, the Samurai devs, and prominent Bitcoiners the old fashioned way.
