Because why not? Big Tech has always limited the user. We could have had a single-machine with Android, Windows, Linux, etc… back in 2012. the android sdk has mips and x86 support, and they’re adding in riscv.

Riscv has NO Windows yet, other than rumors of porting. This is a good thing, no OEM shenanigans as mentioned in the antitrust trial.
