when it happens repeatedly, I say, "Hey's cool if you have an idea, but here's my calendar, book a slot and pay me for the time to consult on your great idea. "

Don't do it for free anymore, your time is worth too much for stupidity. 

 The gambler in me always wants to believe there's a chance their idea is good
