I've found that myself.
Developers should use worse computers so they would spot these bugs themselves.
Especially because more than half of the active nostr users do everything on phone with even less resources
Most mobile apps are mere twitter clones with short messages. noStrudel is a desktop client giving users access to the "other stuff" transported by relays. All through one UI which should be the nostr standard aka "living the NIP standard"
Or users need faster desktop rigs.
Just bought an 8 year old mini pc. Installing Linux on it now. It’s actually pretty sweet to be honest. https://m.primal.net/HyNE.jpg

I get all my computers from the dumpster, or used fixer uppers. Just got a nice ECC server for $60 plus some RAM and (used) SSD drives.
Yeah, they don't care. They be like, If their computers are slow, let them buy MacBooks.
"let them buy macbooks" sounds very appropriate
I complained that an app was slowing down my phone and eating my data plan, and was told to buy a better phone and a better data plan. The app was "free" , but it costed me €10/month for the data plan and would have require a new phone. Got rid of the app, lowered the data plan again, happily using my old phone. The End.
People don't even realize that bad code is often why they keep needing new hardware. Like Windows versus Linux Mint.
code quality and quality of languages altogether has declined in the last 20 years the cost of cheap hardware is going down fast tho... this little mini box i got to run my bitcoin node came with 8gb memory and has an nvme socket in it, and usb-C one on front one on back... was 141 euro but browsers, that's another thing, they are the mother asshole of all shitcode chrome managed to dial that back a few years but it keeps on creeping
Mine has 1 GB. My phone is much faster.
