It sounds silly but moving to @GrapheneOS caused me trouble like not quickly being able to airdrop my wife. Sometimes convenience ia important in the daily ordinary life.

GrapheneOS does although I have never used Android Auto myself.
You can use sandboxed Android Auto with GrapheneOS. Works just like running on a regular android.
