I was a bit late with harvesting grapes. Do you have any idea what I can do with these? My husband is carnivore so I am only one who will eat it (they are not in good shape to give them to someone). š Your help is much appreciated. #asknostr #harvesting #community #eatlocaly #growyourownfood https://image.nostr.build/136f7f27930c934a97ba8a9d6167d61ffb7391a70a7f7c6b4f3e8f6bd9af5cee.jpg
Turn them in to wine?
I think it is not enough for wine - it is about 1kg. š¤
That doesn't seem like an impossible amount of grapes to eat by yourself over a couple of days. Also he's exclusively carnivore? That's almost as dumb as being vegan.
It is then easier to not fall into sugar traps.
Better late then never. I like to put them in the freezer, then they are like little baby ice pops š»š¤¤ I eat mostly a carnivorous diet as well, but in the summer I enjoy seasonal fruits and when I travel I allow myself to try local foods that are not part of the carnivore diet š«£ And frozen gapes have always been an easy pop of sugar when Iām in the middle of a craving.
Thank you. š I already frozen bunch of them - but it seems I will do the same with these.
Maybe a jam or preserve to go with some cheeses?
Thx, I will try to make jam. šŖ
These will make great raisins, just hang them down from ceiling. You will have raisins in few weeks. https://image.nostr.build/f1921b9793fd684a28d4abd51521efb1418cda31861e2635d24fe4553d75b0e7.jpg
