@woodland creature :pleroma_fox_tan: thank you for this opportunity to sperg out about my favorite thing ever. this is the tolkien ensemble, a danish folk music group that has put all of tolkien's lotr poems to music. if you check them out i highly recommend Song of Beren and Luthien, The Fall of Gil-galad, Gandalf's Song of Lórien, the Ent and the Entwife, Song of Lebennin, Elven Hymn to Elbereth Gilthoniel and basically everything else ​:hypercat:​ i can't even begin to express how much i love these songs
