OKAY, What was the weirdest show you watched growing up? I'm looking at you Pete And Pete!
@3fe52772 I remember a sketch show with a recurring character in Rastafarian garb who smoked weed from various objects. One night it was a pigeon. I specifically remember him packing a pigeon with weed and saying something like, “Do you shake it? No, no, noooo, no! Do you bake it? No, no, noooo, no! Do you smoke it? Yah, yah, yaaaah, yah!” Then he lit it and puffed away.
@3fe52772 Remember "You Can't Do That On Television"? Weirdest sketch comedy of all time.
@3fe52772 So many already mentioned, but also: https://media.mstdn.social/media_attachments/files/111/078/548/007/534/708/original/861ddddd323d2ee8.png
@3fe52772 Honestly, most of the stuff I watched as a small child in the early 80s was weird AF. From 'Jamie and his Magic Torch' (psychedelic cartoon for kids) to Rod Hull and Emu's Pink Windmill. Slightly later, Wizbit. That wasn't normal. It explains A LOT about young Gen Xers.
