Look up the definitions and then decide if it's crap. Are we associating these words with appropriated new age nonsense? Like most exoteric religious teaching they would be perfectly happy if we dismissed the terms or blindly accepted them without understanding.
Dhamma (Pali) aka Dharma (Sanskrit) shares the roots with the terms Earth, Dirt, Territory, Terrain, Terra, Torah, Tarot and basically means natural law. Hence the Earth connotation. The Dhamma is the law of the Universe it is what keeps us grounded, yet allows us to operate when we understand it.
Kamma (Pali) aka Karma (Sanskrit) is the literal word for "work" or "action" and more specifically intended work. This work produces fruit whether it is good work or bad work. It's proof of work!
So now we have take alleged crap and hopefully it will became fecund, fruitful and fertile.
