Oddbean new post about login | logout I just can't do it any more. I used to be the biggest gamer. I even worked in the gaming industry for a number of years. I have every major console. I have a huge catalogue of games on steam. And yet, I just can't pull the energy together to invest in playing a new game. I used to be a huge CoD fan, but the franchise has gone to shit. It sucks. I want to have fun again.
The last final fantaisy is pretty Amazing if you like the franchise. Finished it in... 83 hours 😅 you'll need some time haha
I keep trying, and failing. In the past 15+ years I think the only games with a story I have finished are GTA V, Skyrim, the Dragon Age series and the Witcher III. And non-story games, like turn based strategy games have ended up being boring. On the other hand, most every week I meet with the same group of friends from more than 30 years ago, and we play board games.
