Oddbean new post about login | logout @0af78396 I’m pretty worn down. Grinding it out day after day to stay ahead is taking its toll. When ~50% of what you make (in taxes/fees/insurance etc plus inflation) is essentially stolen and given to criminals, keeping it up has a shelf life. I see people getting pushed closer and closer to the edge all around me. There are people who will lose everything, soon. Maybe that is the “plan”? And they’re ALL in on it.
@6f86c8d6 It does seem like it could be a plan, if so this final year will be a big push for disaster, where many like you say may fall off the edge. It never lets up, people can snap, they will snap, i can't picture anyone just riding this to there end. if it goes that way. Why should they? They acted civilized and trusted, waited, and waited too long. We'll see, there will be a breaking point or things will start to look tolerable.
