@85fa30b5 There used to be very few people vying for attention now there are many many people trying to attract ever more fractured audiences.  This pushes people to be a bit over the top to stand out.  It also pushes them to "feed" their audiences with the confirmation that they crave.  As a result, it's extremely hard to get all the real facts regarding anything.  I have just come to accept that and decided it doesn't really matter that much.
