 So are you planning on sending them the wallet address so they can see the money in the wallet, but not giving them access to the wallet untill 5 years time. 
That's a cool idea, Im sending them wallet address and 12 word seed with 12th word missing and say to them I will give you the 12th word in 5 years. Forces them to learn about private seeds too. (Hopefully they don't crack it)
Yes, then they will be hooked and will pay attention to bitcoin when they hear news about it. Thats a really good idea, I love it. Best Xmas present idea 💯
