I've been outlining my first novel for many months and I've always had a vague idea for a sequel, but today I had SO many awesome ideas for a prequel!!! 

Looks like I'm gonna write a trilogy, boys 🤘

Question tho --- since "book 2" is my original idea and I'm so far along working on it, should I finish it first before starting on book 1? Or should I write all 3 books as one big project? (because I'll have to release them all at once or at least very close together) 

 The trend in publishing seems to favor a staggered release on a series. I would think writing all 3 at the same time would help with continuity.

 Writing book 1 will give you so many additional pathways to improve the following books.

 Do it like Star Wars and write book two and three then write book one.

 I do if it's a good one. Really depends on the story  

 Good idea but make sure to actually have a plan for book three... Unlike Star Wars
