Oddbean new post about login | logout node is down yet again. my bitcoind loves to corrupt the leveldb index for some reason, even on different drives. Starting to think it’s a bug. maybe I need to zfs snapshot or something :/
weird, i have no issues with the DB on my zorin OS node (based on ubuntu 22) yes, could be it's mangling the indexes tho it takes a while to rebuild but perhaps keep a backup of the chain data so you can just drop it back onto a node and then set the tx/addr indexes on and reindex... only takes a few hours, maybe at most a day it's incredible how fast core syncs up these days!
