They recently introduced 10000 peso bills, a short while ago the largest was 1000, which was interesting (having 1USD as the highest cash denomination ...). Even more interesting - some people apparently *don't like* having the higher denominations!
I'm surprised more places don't accept USD with such a screwed up cash system.
Right. The big one is rent and houses; always USD *priced* afaict (though presumably you can pay in pesos). For big ticket consumer goods you might occasionally be able to pay with USD (also tourist things like taxis) but otherwise yeah you basically have to price in, and use, ARS which is not great.
Not a lot of currency exchanges around either, at least that I've seen so far; in Ukraine you can find a currency exchange booth literally every few hundred meters.
Calle Florida (off Av. Córdoba) is a big concentration but I think there's a broad shopping area of the city around there where you find them here and there.
people in these hyperinflationary countries always stash a lot of USD cash or buy a load of inventory to offset the fiat blowup. its the only way to survive.
Looks very stable. Just like all stablecoins..
Yep. USD is a basket. Its value depends on the direction of all the other components.
 Ouch
 enshittification of fiat peso
