I think they somewhat got what they were looking for. Phoenix shuts down US service, Sparrow pulls their mixer, got a lot of people in a panic and it can be assumed many less dedicated people cashed out. But the whole they coming for wallets is just doom peddlers doing what they do best.
Think that’s about right. But crazy to see supposed maxis shitting their pants because the government tried to overreach. The tech is designed for way more overreach than that. It’s the entire point of the tech.
IMO, Easy to talk bold online when there is no pressure. Different when the pressure is applied, real or imagined, though. I suspect a lot of those supposed maxis are just clout chasers and number go up types and dont really have true freedom ethos.
When things are bad the paranoid will survive 🤨
