The “free” internet has ruined people’s brains. Seem to have forgotten that good work takes time and resources.
Some have forgotten that often times when something is free and from the corporate world that they are the product.
What would I build if I could launch on a blockchain that is decentralized, scalable, and isn't backed by an oligarchy of validators or a plutocracy of miners?
I try to be nice about what I ask for. I'm blunt. But, if you're putting something out there expect people to be people about it.
This has been a problem in the Foss/opensource community since the beginning, users are overly entitled and feel they should never have to pay anything.
I will say the pay part has slowly improved with the various ways to donate these days, but there aren't a bunch of freeloaders out there..

I don't think they will get that good, at least not for a very long time. Also, everyone will be paying then, I don't think LLMs will stay free forever.
They will get that good and I guess if you're worried about electric costs we can make it "when language models make everyone with a solar panel and a computer a coder"
A shorter way to say this would be "some people literally feel entitled to human rights, even when that would mean communication infrastructure that isn't malware, as if devs make shit with good intent"
