 As hobbyists maybe. We used it in a professional context and the team was about 2/3rds male and 1/3rd female. Similar to many engineering units.

 Yeah it couldn’t actually be that I worked on aircraft simulators for 12 years and eventually ran the facility. Talking about anything during that long period of my life is “desperately wanting to hang out with the guys” lol.

 This story is about some place far away some time long ago that I couldn't care less about and I don't see why anyone here else would. There isn't a current event or something someone said that prompted it. The ostensible link to "current events in Brazil" seems too far fetched.

It seemingly comes out of nowhere just like a couple other similar stories on nostr:nprofile1qqsw4v882mfjhq9u63j08kzyhqzqxqc8tgf740p4nxnk9jdv02u37ncpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9uju6mpd4czuumfw3jsz9nhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wsq3yamnwvaz7tmsw4e8qmr9wpskwtn9wvql3tqm's feed. It's like a horse walking into the room while I'm sitting at my desk in the office. I'd be like well where did that come from now.

Why tell the story here and now, what's the intent. The guys whose recognition she's possibly seeking are the guys on nostr, here and now.
