Oddbean new post about login | logout I'd totally chat with them. I'd ask them to consider more libertarian positions and explain the reasons for them. If they objected, I'd tease out why. If they seemed dishonest, or like they were too co-opted by the system, I'd have achieved some intel on what the next few years would be like really. If not, maybe I'd have given them better ideas for policy that will help more people by getting the government out of the way. Plus eating pizza with these guys would be fun lol! I don't trust them to improve things, but yeah I'll have a discussion!
